Your phone fixed tonight,
not next week.

We are the workshop that is still open when everyone else has locked up. Cracked screen at nine in the evening, a battery that gives up by lunchtime, a phone that met the Douro — bring it in and you will know what is wrong, what it costs and when you can collect it, within minutes.

What we fix

The faults that walk through this door every single day

There is no point listing fifty services. These six cover almost everything that reaches our bench, with guide prices for the models we see most often in Porto.

Smartphone with a shattered display resting on a blue repair mat

Cracked or discoloured screen

Spidered glass, a corner that ignores your thumb, spreading ink blots. We replace the full module and test multi-touch, the proximity sensor and True Tone before handing it back.

from €4530–60 min
Disassembled smartphone with battery and tools laid out on a repair workbench

A battery that never lasts the day

If your phone dies at 30% or runs warm in your pocket, the cell is finished. New battery fitted, charge cycle calibrated, and we show you the real health figure before and after.

from €3540 min
Close-up of the rear camera lens array on a modern smartphone

Blurry, scratched or dead camera

Cracked lens glass, permanently soft photos, a camera that rattles while focusing. We replace the module or just the protective glass, which saves real money when the sensor is fine.

from €4045 min
Macro photograph of a smartphone USB-C charging port

Won't charge, or only at an angle

Nine times out of ten it is compacted pocket lint at the bottom of the connector, and we clear that out in front of you. When the port itself has failed, we desolder it and fit a new one.

Smartphones submerged in water surrounded by air bubbles

Dropped in water (or in a glass of wine)

Here the clock matters. We open it, disconnect the battery, ultrasonically clean the board and dry it under controlled heat. The sooner it reaches us, the more we save.

Stuck on the logo, or painfully slow

Boot loops, a failed update, a handset that crawls. We always try the route that keeps your photos intact before anyone mentions wiping anything.

Why here

What separates us from the other thirty shops in Porto

Porto is not short of places to get a phone fixed. It is short of places that explain what they are actually doing to your device.

Our benchOrganised repair workspace with precision tools and smartphone components

Portuguese, English and Spanish

Half the people who walk in from Rua da Alegria are visitors. Nobody leaves without understanding the bill.

We stay open until 11:30pm

Shift work, or you only remember the phone after dinner? The door is open, every day of the year.

Parts we name out loud

We tell you whether it is genuine, third-party OLED or compatible LCD, and exactly what each option costs.

We don't touch your photos

Almost every repair happens without your passcode. When testing genuinely requires it, you unlock it in front of us.

Quoted before we open it

A fixed price in writing. If something else surfaces inside, we call you before going any further.

A warranty without an argument

Up to 12 months on parts and labour. If the screen fails on its own, we sort it. No debate.

While you have a coffee

Screens and batteries for common models take 30 to 60 minutes. No need to leave the phone with us.

Repair before replace

A three-year-old phone with a fresh battery gets another two. We will tell you honestly when it isn't worth it.

Rua da Alegria Cobbled Porto street lined with historic buildings and parked cars
Where we are

A short walk from Bolhão, well clear of tourist-strip pricing

Rua da Alegria climbs between Santo Ildefonso and Bonfim, along a stretch that still has grocers, neighbourhood cafés and people who know each other by name. We are at number 134A, at street level, with no stairs and no buzzer.

  • Seven minutes on foot from Bolhão metro station (lines A, B, C, E and F)
  • Buses 400 and 900 stop less than a hundred metres from the door
  • Paid street parking outside and the covered Bolhão car park five minutes away
  • Step-free entrance, accessible with a wheelchair or a pushchair
Common questions

What people ask us at the counter

If your question isn't here, message us on WhatsApp. We reply during shop hours.

How long does a screen repair take?

For the models we see most — iPhone 11 through 15, Galaxy A and S series, Redmi Note — plan for thirty to sixty minutes, provided the part is in stock. Ring ahead with your model and we will tell you on the spot whether you can wait for it or whether it is better to come back tomorrow.

Do you repair phones bought outside Portugal?

Yes, and we do it every week. Hardware does not change at a border: an iPhone bought in Brazil, Angola or the United States takes exactly the same screen as one bought in Porto. The warranty we issue is ours and it covers the part we fitted, no matter where the phone originally came from.

Is my data safe during the repair?

The overwhelming majority of repairs never need your passcode. Screens, batteries, cameras and charging ports are all replaced with the device switched off. When testing genuinely requires the phone to be unlocked — a software fault, for instance — we ask you to unlock it in front of us and hand it straight back. Nothing is ever copied anywhere.

Can I keep using a cracked screen until I have time to fix it?

You can, with two honest caveats. Glass splinters cut fingertips far more than people expect, and more importantly a broken screen lets dust and moisture reach the module underneath. What is a straightforward screen swap today can become screen plus damaged board in two weeks. If you cannot come in right away, stick a protector over the cracks as a temporary patch.

Do I need an appointment?

No. We are a walk-in shop and we serve people in the order they arrive. That said, if you call ahead with the model and the fault, we set the part aside and your phone goes straight to the bench — which saves you waiting behind someone with a longer job.

Which payment methods do you take?

Multibanco, MB WAY, contactless cards and cash. We always issue an invoice on request, and that invoice doubles as your warranty document.

Bring the phone in. The diagnosis is free and commits you to nothing.

We open it, we look, we quote. If you would rather not go ahead, we close it back up and you pay nothing — not for opening it, not for our time.
